Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, and ensures residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. The hospital includes trauma care with a helipad for emergency transport, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, a NICU, Intensive care, Medical/Surgical care, Telemetry care, and a soon-to-be open ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services.

The candidate will plan, implement, and manage quality improvement programs by analyzing patient care data to identify areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements, and leading initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Key responsibilities include data collection and analysis, collaborating with healthcare teams, educating staff on quality standards, investigating adverse events, and preparing reports for administration and committees.
Requirements and Qualifications
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program DC RN license required Two or more years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting Skills Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety Demonstrate a proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years
