Overview Store Manager role at Car-X Tire & Auto. The Store Manager position is a salaried role responsible for daily leadership of store operations, coaching and developing store teammates, and supporting the District Manager in achieving store goals and Monro’s vision for quality automotive service and tires.

Develop sales and technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience. Assist in development and implementation of sales plans; maintain thorough knowledge of services, products, and the automotive industry to achieve sales goals. Introduce tire and service products to guests to maximize sales and guest satisfaction and loyalty. Train and develop teammates on shop operations and guest services to sustain a productive sales environment. Provide direction and oversight to other technicians and assist where needed with services/repairs. Manage staffing: recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, performance management and development of teammates. Control expenses through payroll, utilities, repairs, supplies, and other controllable costs. Inventory management including pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory. Audit courtesy inspections performed by teammates and maintain store cleanliness and guest readiness to Monro standards. Schedule guest appointments and assign teammates according to skill level for efficient completion of services/repairs. Inform and recommend tire and service products and promotions to achieve sales goals. Attend to guest needs in sales, service, complaints, and adjustments; build guest relationships to maximize satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Convey repair and service needs to guests when appropriate. Adhere to company policies and procedures, governmental standards including environmental codes, and ANSI/OSHA standards; ensure safety compliance. Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training; operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Profile Summary

High School Diploma or equivalent Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail/sales environment Proven ability to manage, drive, and deliver financial results while controlling costs Ability to influence and motivate a team to achieve goals Ability to problem solve, manage inventory, merchandising, and customer service Effective communication skills with teammates and guests Complete all Monro required training within guidelines and timing Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR Work Environment & Physical Requirements This job operates in an automotive shop environment with exposure to moderate noise, adverse weather, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust. Requirements may include: Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays See and lift, carry, and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance Frequent standing and walking for long periods Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting Benefits
