Achieve more with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Accounts Payable Coordinator in Newport News, VA As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will: • Ensure invoice images and supporting documents are accurate. • Enter invoice details into client’s ERP by using accounts payable 3-way match process. • Investigate and resolve problems and inquiries. • Ability to identify different accounting document types. • Assist with other Ad Hoc Accounts Payable duties. • Calculate and apply accurate payment terms to vendor invoice entries. • Accurately bill customers for products and services. • Advanced problem-solving concerning unit of measure differences and other research as necessary. • Review entries for duplication. Interact with outside vendors to ensure accurate processing of invoices. • Maintain consistency of adherence to accounts payable policies and goals. • Provide elevated levels of support at Month End as well as Mid-Year and Year End. • Provide unparalleled customer service to both internal and external customers. This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Ability to manual key in 35-40 invoices per hour with high accuracy (typing skills). GL coding experience. Knowledge of payment terms and accuracy billing customers. Accounts payable, procurement (P2P) or other financial experience required. Demonstrate Microsoft Office software skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
