We bring you Tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri 63136 As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for . Inspect and test products based on internal quality requirements and procedures Support and participate in internal auditing activities as directed by NA Quality Manager or iCenter Quality Specialist Maintain, test and troubleshoot all testing instrumentation devices, and log calibration activities and records Report problems or concerns to appropriate management and quality personnel immediately Create data sets to be synthesized for production trends for indicators critical to quality Provide QA training and support to shop personnel Support Inspection of incoming goods during receiving to ensure consistency and integrity of build material Provide powered-on testing and diagnostic processes for various types of electronic controls packaged in cabinets or enclosures Performs other duties as assigned Key skills: 5 years’ experience in process equipment or controls wiring and assembly or testing and troubleshooting with a minimum of 2 years working within a ISO9001 quality system. Familiar with National Electric Code, reading of electrical schematics and ladder diagrams, and process industry standards. Demonstrate a working knowledge of ISO9001 requirements, basic computer skills and a commitment to teamwork. Preference given to candidates familiar with DeltaV and other client systems and products. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and withstand noise, heat/cold extremes; pass forklift driver test upon request. Ability to work in awkward postures and climb stairs. Ability to be comfortable and aware around material handling and lifting equipment in motion, and able to use the same equipment as required after proper training. Location: Saint Louis, MO 63136 Duration: 6 Months Contract Shift Timing: 1st shift.
