About the Role
The Company is seeking a North America Head of Fund Accounting for Asset Managers, a pivotal leadership role within the Global Fund Accounting Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization, management, and delivery of a comprehensive suite of accounting services to asset manager clients in North America. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of multi-jurisdictional accounting, daily share class net asset value calculations, and maintaining client books and records in compliance with accounting standards. The role demands a focus on client outcomes, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement in service quality and productivity. The Head of Fund Accounting will also be accountable for the financial performance of the fund accounting operations, driving productivity, and operational effectiveness, and leading a large team to foster high performance and attract top talent.
Applicants for this senior leadership position should have a proven track record in asset servicing or asset management, with over 15 years of leadership experience in operations and/or technology. The role requires a leader with the ability to navigate a large, global organization, build meaningful relationships, and possess solid technical knowledge of accounting and fund services. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in client interactions across various segments, as well as with regulators and third-party managers. Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. The Head of Fund Accounting will be expected to be a role model for acceptance and flexibility in a diverse work environment and to actively engage in business travel as needed. A strong educational background in financial services, coupled with a leadership role in a similar capacity, is preferred.
