Senior Cloud Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you'll take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions that scale infrastructure, boost reliability, and empower engineering teams through self-service. You'll bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, and you'll be hands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and cloud-native tooling. Your work will directly influence how teams deploy, manage, and secure their environments-giving them the tools to move faster and safer. Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain automation frameworks to streamline infrastructure deployment and management Architect and optimize cloud-native solutions using Azure IaaS and PaaS services Build scalable infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt Automate with Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Ansible Support containerized workloads and orchestration with Kubernetes Manage identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Champion platform engineering and build self-service capabilities for development teams Collaborate across engineering to identify automation opportunities and eliminate bottlenecks Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with best practices and compliance standards Qualifications
A bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years in cloud engineering, with deep experience in Azure cloud services, Terraform and Terragrunt for IaC Strong experience with Azure cloud services and ecosystem Advanced scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python Hands-on experience with Ansible and Kubernetes Deep understanding of identity and access management via Entra ID Proven ability to build secure, scalable, and resilient automation solutions Solid grasp of platform engineering and developer enablement Preferred Skills
Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with observability and incident response practices Knowledge of cloud security best practices Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills Preferred Certifications
Azure Solutions Architect Expert DevOps Engineer Expert Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) HashiCorp Terraform Associate Other relevant cloud or automation certifications Why You'll Love It Here?!
You'll shape the automation strategy across our cloud platforms You'll work with cutting-edge technologies in a forward-thinking engineering culture You'll be part of a team that values innovation, autonomy, and continuous improvement The base salary range for this position is $152,000 - $208,250 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
