We're seeking a dynamic relationship builder to join us as our

Director of Sales & Marketing

to lead and reposition our Hotel Sales Team. In this role, you'll go above and beyond to win business, surprise guests with exceptional service, and lead a team to success. As a self-starter, you'll empower associates to achieve results, while staying connected with industry trends and events to position our hotel as a leader. You'll thrive on making sales calls, attracting new customers, and entertaining business clients.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, manage, and oversee the Sales & Conference Services department

Utilize your experience in Hotel Sales, Marketing, Catering, and Revenue Management to excel in this role

Take overall responsibility for all revenue streams and market segments, with direct revenue responsibility for specified market segments

Develop, execute, and achieve an annual marketing plan

Sell meeting space and ensure successful execution of the team's monthly action plans

Report directly to the General Manager

Education & Experience Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

BA/BS 4-year degree or foreign equivalency and/or combination of experience/education.

5 years of experience in Hotel Sales Department, with a track record of sales growth, experience in social media marketing, sourcing and booking group accounts, Required.

Active membership in influential hotel sales organizations

Knowledge of sales systems

Experience selling a property with a minimum of 250 Keys and 10,000 SF of Event Space or more. Highly Preferred:

Hilton brand experience, Highly Preferred.

Catering sales experience, Highly Preferred.

Group sales experience, Highly Preferred.

Houston Market experience, Highly Preferred.

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications

Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
