Description

Join a growing aerospace and defense company where people truly are our greatest asset. We are seeking an On-Site Human Resources Manager to partner with our Remote HR Manager in building and supporting all aspects of HR. Together, you will form a two-person HR department that covers the full spectrum of HR—strategic to transactional—while shaping the employee experience.

You’ll be the face of HR on-site, supporting both employees and managers with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and engagement initiatives. This is a hands-on position where you’ll roll up your sleeves for everything from policy guidance to entering data into HR systems.

This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, values independence, and thrives in a collaborative small-team environment. You’ll have the opportunity to influence culture, improve processes, and make a direct impact on the future of a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for employees and managers for HR inquiries, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage day-to-day onboarding, orientation, and integration of new employees.
  • Facilitate performance evaluations, supervisor coaching, and career development support.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition programs, and retention initiatives.
  • Support safety programs, workers’ compensation, and training tracking.
  • Conduct fact-finding and documentation for employee relations issues, escalating to Remote HR Manager as needed.
  • Administer transactional HR processes including payroll changes, leave management, and payroll entries.
  • Partner with Remote HR Manager for alignment of policies, reporting, and HR initiatives.
  • Perform recruiting functions including job postings, candidate screening, and scheduling interviews.
