About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing high-quality support to survivors of domestic violence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's vision, strategy, and day-to-day operations, ensuring that all activities are in line with the company's values and goals. This role involves shaping long-term objectives, overseeing strategic planning, and serving as a thought leader and advocate for policies that benefit survivors. The Executive Director will also engage with the Board of Directors, manage a diverse team, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and growth. Fundraising, communication, and partnership development are key components of the position, as is the oversight of financial health and operational systems.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a degree in management, social services, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years' in management and a minimum of 3 years' in senior leadership within a direct service organization. The role requires a proven track record in strategic leadership, nonprofit financial management, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a nonprofit Board of Directors, cultivating government and community relationships, and leading a diverse team. Exceptional communication skills, a commitment to the company's mission and values, and a background in trauma-informed care or related issues are highly valued.
