About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission with a strong focus on leadership, strategy, fundraising, and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for realizing the organization's vision, leading the board in strategic planning, and ensuring that the strategic plan is in line with the mission. This role involves building and maintaining community partnerships, particularly in the areas of racial equity, inclusion, and diversity. The Executive Director will also take the lead in all fundraising efforts, including securing support from various sources, and will be the primary contact for external communications and press coverage.
In addition to leadership and fundraising, the Executive Director will oversee financial management, HR and personnel management, operations, and program development. This includes ensuring sound fiscal management, compliance with legal and policy requirements, and fostering a strong organizational culture. The role also involves working closely with the Board of Directors, managing the organization's relationship with key partners, and overseeing the delivery and evaluation of educational programs. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in nonprofit management, a passion for the mission, and the ability to inspire and engage the community.
