About the Role

The Company is seeking a new Head of School to lead its unique educational institution, which is dedicated to a holistic approach that combines character education, expeditionary learning, and academics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school's transition into a more mature phase, building on the strong sense of community and the well-developed administrative and academic systems in place. Key responsibilities for the Head of School include developing a multi-year enrollment management plan, strengthening academic rigor and program alignment, and implementing a sustainable financial model. The role demands a visionary leader with strong management skills, adept at both strategic planning and hands-on tasks, and a commitment to inclusion and belonging. The Head of School will also be tasked with improving processes, procedures, and systems, and must be prepared to share the school's successes and unique approach to education with a wider audience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in educational leadership, be a strong communicator, and have the ability to attract and retain excellent faculty and staff. They should be business-savvy, particularly in financial management, marketing, and communications, and be prepared to work closely with the Board of Trustees to support its maturation process. The Head of School must be a relational leader, highly visible in the school community, and committed to the values of the institution. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced educational leader to make a significant impact and help the school continue to thrive in its mission to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
