About the Role
The Company is at a pivotal moment in its history, and is seeking a Head of Upper School to join its vibrant community. The successful candidate will be an experienced, collaborative, and visionary educational leader, responsible for creating and communicating a strategic vision that aligns with the school's mission. This role involves shaping a compelling value proposition for the Upper School, with a focus on curricular innovation and co-curricular programming to ensure the future readiness of students. The Head of Upper School will also be a visible and approachable presence at various school events, serving as an ambassador and fostering strong relationships within the community.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Upper School include leadership, faculty development, and supervision, as well as community engagement and schoolwide leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep philosophical alignment with the school's mission and values, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and a minimum of 10 years' experience in an upper school educational setting, with at least 5 years in educational leadership. They should possess a strong leadership presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to inspire and support faculty and students. The role requires a leader with impeccable judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to creating and sustaining inclusive, welcoming environments.
