About the Role

The Company is in search of a full-time Executive Director to lead its mission of making quality maternal health and doula care accessible to all. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a minimum of 8 years' experience in the nonprofit or public sector, particularly in a senior leadership role. This role is pivotal in the organization's growth and sustainability, requiring a strategic and hands-on approach to development, financial management, and team leadership. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and executing a robust fundraising strategy, ensuring the organization's fiscal integrity, and leading the strategic planning process. A deep passion for maternal health, public health, and social justice is essential, as is a proven track record in managing diverse teams and a commitment to racial equity and justice.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a strong background in organizational management, strategic planning, and a history of setting and achieving strategic goals. The role demands a leader with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, who is adept at balancing a collaborative approach with decisive action. Experience in managing budgets of at least $500K and a preference for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and experience in program development are also key qualifications. The ideal candidate will be based in Massachusetts, with the flexibility to work virtually and travel as needed.
