About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the West Coast Real Estate Investment Specialist role within its Asset Management division. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the prospecting of new clients, deepening existing client and consultant relationships, and providing thought leadership. This role is pivotal in growing and maintaining the Real Estate Americas book of business with a focus on the U.S. client base, including various institutional investors. The Executive Director will be expected to initiate and manage client relationships, establish strategic partnerships, and deliver the firm's resources to meet client investment goals. A strong network of relationships with Western U.S. institutional real estate investors is essential, as is the ability to deliver compelling business presentations and investment reviews.
Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in raising capital for real estate investment strategies or equivalent investment experience, with a proven track record. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a deep understanding of regional economic forecasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be results-oriented, and be willing to travel. An undergraduate degree in business or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or CFA. Professional certifications such as Series 3, 7, and 63 are also preferred. The role demands the highest ethical standards in professional and personal conduct, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
