About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting and nurturing a diverse range of creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. The successful candidate will serve as the chief executive and strategic leader, overseeing the organization's vision, operations, programming, and fundraising efforts. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong understanding of the creative economy and entrepreneurial trends, who can guide the organization in strategy, fundraising, program innovation, and sustainability. The Executive Director will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships, fostering an inclusive creative economy, and ensuring that the organization's programs effectively support the growth and success of creative entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include serving as the primary ambassador for the organization, leading strategic planning, and collaborating with the Board of Directors to ensure strong governance. The role also involves overseeing a comprehensive development strategy, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining a healthy workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' leadership experience, and a proven track record in fundraising. They should possess exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, and demonstrate a commitment to equity, innovation, the arts, and community empowerment. The Executive Director will be expected to engage in public speaking, advocacy, and storytelling, and to cultivate partnerships with various stakeholders to elevate the organization's profile and impact.
