About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fundraising and Philanthropy to lead the strategic planning and implementation of a wide range of fundraising activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing annual giving, special campaigns, and various forms of philanthropic support, including major gifts, corporate and foundation grants, and sponsorships. This role involves building and nurturing a strong philanthropic culture, both within the organization and with external stakeholders, to advance the mission of the company. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a team, aligning philanthropic goals with organizational objectives, and ensuring the Foundation operates in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines.
Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a proven track record in fundraising and philanthropy, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and strategic plan. Leadership skills are essential for this role, as is the capacity to work closely with the Board of Directors to define and achieve aggressive fundraising goals. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering relationships, both with current contributors and in identifying new philanthropic partners. Operational management experience, including financial planning and resource stewardship, is also required. A strong emphasis will be placed on the candidate's ability to lead a high-performing, future-ready development function and to ensure the Foundation's activities are in line with the mission and goals of the company.
