About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information and Technology Officer (DCITO) to play a pivotal role in the operational and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the organization's information and technology systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous delivery and operation of integrated information systems, with a focus on the operational side of the technology department, including shared technical services, data and application technology, intelligent transportation systems, IT asset management, and IT business operations. This senior leadership position involves leading the development and implementation of annual business plans that align with strategic technology objectives, maintaining enterprise IT policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and diversity. The DCITO will also be involved in senior consultation, budget planning, and will serve as a delegate for the Chief Information and Technology Officer in their absence.
Applicants for the DCITO role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 7 years of senior-level management experience, and at least 5 years in a public sector or highly regulated entity.
