About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted adviser to the CHRO, providing leadership over corporate and logistics HR matters with a strong focus on talent management. This role involves active participation in the HR leadership team, contributing to strategic initiatives, and resolving a range of general management issues. The VP will also be responsible for advising on management and employee ownership strategies, as well as managing HR teams to support the development and execution of aggressive goals and programs. A key aspect of the role is to promote a culture of high performance, partnerships, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with new legislation and managing legal risks associated with employee relations.
Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in HR or equivalent, with a proven track record of working closely with HR leadership and contributing to business strategy. The role requires strong management skills, experience in leading HR departments, and the ability to forecast and manage significant expense budgets. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, business-oriented HR professional with a strong technical HR background, excellent judgment, and the ability to be the voice of team members in complex matters.
