We’re looking for a Building Automation Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of BAS/DDC projects from kickoff to closeout. This role blends technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Experience with Tridium Niagara is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Manage BAS projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review project scopes, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with design intent and customer requirements.
- Oversee field installation, programming, commissioning, and integration activities for BAS/DDC systems.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met on all job sites.
- Support and mentor junior staff, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing service opportunities and future business.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Building Automation, Controls, or related mechanical/electrical project management.
- Strong knowledge of BAS/DDC systems; Tridium Niagara experience highly preferred.
- Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, or commercial/industrial construction.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a client-first mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field is a plus (or equivalent experience).
