We are partnering with a fast-moving specialty chemicals supplier to hire an Application Engineer focused on production chemicals in the Permian Basin. This is a role working directly with field operations to apply, monitor, and optimize chemical programs that keep production stable and assets protected.

As an Application Engineer, you'll be the technical point-of-contact for production chemicals-planning and running field trials, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues on location, and translating results into clear recommendations. You'll coordinate with clients, labs, suppliers, and internal operations and support site setup/yard activities as the region scales.

Apply and optimize production-chemical programs (e.g., corrosion/scale inhibitors, emulsion breakers, flow-assurance solutions) Plan and conduct field visits and trials; monitor KPIs and adjust treat rates/formulations Troubleshoot production issues alongside client operations and recommend corrective actions Document results, prepare technical reports, and present recommendations to stakeholders Liaise with labs, suppliers, and internal ops; support site setup/yard operations as needed Skills and Competencies
Required:
5-10 years of experience in oil & gas production chemicals (applications + field problem-solving) Deep knowledge of production formulations and field diagnostics Strong client-facing communication; able to translate technical findings into clear actions Desired:
Experience tailoring programs for Permian Basin conditions Proven effectiveness coordinating lab, supplier, and internal ops handoffs Comfortable in a fast-moving, outcomes-focused environment What's In It for You
