The

Director of Trio Talent Search Project

is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of recruitment and talent acquisition for the University. This role ensures that the University attracts, engages, and retains highly qualified faculty, staff, and administrators in alignment with institutional goals and values. The Director partners with academic and administrative leadership to develop proactive recruiting strategies, manage the hiring process through the University's applicant tracking system, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive talent search strategy to attract diverse, high-quality candidates for faculty and staff positions. Collaborate with deans, department chairs, and hiring managers to anticipate workforce needs and build pipelines of qualified applicants. Oversee the end-to-end hiring process through the applicant tracking system (e.g., ADP Recruiting or other platforms). Guide hiring managers through best practices in job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection. Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Train search committees and hiring managers on equitable recruitment and selection processes. Monitor applicant and hiring trends to ensure compliance with affirmative action and equal opportunity regulations. Ensure adherence to University policies, accreditation standards, and federal/state employment laws. Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. Oversee the completion and accuracy of required Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and related documentation. Identify and implement recruiting technologies, job boards, and digital platforms to enhance talent outreach. Partner with marketing and communications teams to promote employment opportunities and University culture. Evaluate recruitment metrics and trends to continuously improve hiring effectiveness. Education

Master's degree in Human Resources, Higher Education Administration, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, talent management, or human resources, preferably in higher education. Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
