Work a 4/10 schedule in the office daily Monday through Thursday (Every Friday off) What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a government contracting environment
Hands-on experience with cost accounting, indirect rates, and project accounting
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA/DCMA audit requirements
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
U.S. citizenship (required for contractual reasons); eligibility for DoD Secret clearance What You'll Be Doing:
Implement Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and fixed assets
Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and federal regulations
Ensure audit readiness and manage DCAA/DCMA requests
Oversee cost allocations, indirect rate structures, and project accounting
Manage invoicing and billing through government systems like WAWF
Partner with program managers and leadership to track budgets, contract performance, and compliance
Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies
Support proposal development and pricing for bids
