Responsibilities:

Assist the pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing and preparing pastry products. Work across various stations, including but not limited to fruit cutting, economy packing, juice preparation, basket assembly, plating, and food assembly. Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations as outlined in the Food Safety Management System Handbook. Maintain a clean and organized workstation to uphold sanitation standards. Uphold DO & CO standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Promptly report any food safety concerns to the manager and the hygiene and food safety team. Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen; bakery or pastry environment a plus. Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or kitchen environment is a plus. Culinary or pastry coursework/certification is a plus. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Strong knife skills; must be confident and safe when handling sharp knives. Prior experience with fruit and/or vegetable preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, plating) strongly preferred. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper storage practices. Ability to manage workload efficiently, minimize wastage, and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized, with consistent preparation and presentation. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
