SmithLife Homecare is currently seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Washington, DC office. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office environment while supporting daily administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls, transferring them appropriately, and taking messages when needed Provide general administrative support including data entry, preparing reports, and maintaining organized records Maintain a clean, stocked, and professional office environment Track and send out birthday cards, deactivation/deceased letters, and other communications Monitor and ensure caregiver compliance with clock in/out and task log completion Assist caregivers and clients with inquiries and provide timely support Respond to new client inquiries, offering basic information about our services Collaborate with office staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience in customer service or front desk support Proficient with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners Friendly, professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
