Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Company Overview: A leading real estate investment firm with over $30 billion in assets under management is seeking a Portfolio Accountant to join their Investor Accounting team in Boston, MA. The role involves assisting in the financial close process and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: Monitor and review monthly financial reports prepared by third-party property managers for assigned real estate assets Oversee third-party property managers and provide guidance on accounting practices Review financial performance, evaluate NOI fluctuations, and review outstanding tenant receivables Complete periodic desk top audits and communicate results to asset managers Assist with the preparation of financial statements and underlying schedules Prepare quarterly debt covenants and consultant/investor reports Coordinate with external audit and tax team on required deliverables Prepare quarterly NCREIF deliverables and review property and fund level returns Calculate monthly management fees and prepare forecasts Review monthly fund level bank reconciliations and prepare fund level wire requests Prepare investment acquisition and disposition entries Handle ad hoc projects and requests as needed Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in accounting strongly preferred 2-3 years accounting experience is a must Public Accounting & Real Estate Accounting experience strongly preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills critical; Yardi familiarity a plus Compensation: Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus The post Portfolio Accountant appeared first on Landing Point.
