Join a dynamic healthcare organization in the Pacific Northwest region as an Accommodation & Leave Specialist. This role is essential in managing employee leave and accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA. You will support a diverse healthcare workforce by providing compassionate, consistent, and legally compliant leave administration to promote employee well-being and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities: - Administer various leave programs including FMLA, ADA, disability leaves, military leave, and other statutory leaves. - Evaluate and approve or deny leave and accommodation requests based on eligibility and legal requirements. - Collaborate with employees, healthcare managers, medical providers, and vendors to gather documentation and determine appropriate accommodations. - Maintain confidential records in compliance with healthcare privacy laws. - Provide expert guidance and training to supervisors and HR partners on leave laws and accommodation processes. - Monitor leave trends to support workforce planning and risk mitigation. - Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and disability vendors to ensure smooth leave processing and return-to-work transitions. - Assist with audits, investigations, and reporting related to leave compliance.

Education & Experience: - Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field strongly preferred. - Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources, with at least 2 years managing employee leave and accommodations. - Experience in healthcare settings preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements: - Thorough knowledge of FMLA, ADA, disability regulations, and HIPAA. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. - Strong analytical skills to interpret medical documentation and apply complex regulations. - Proficiency in HRIS, leave management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
