Principal Technical Advisor
to amplify our brand and expand our presence in the U.S. market. This is a
contract-based, senior-level opportunity
for a seasoned technologist who thrives at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and business development.
We're a modern software consulting and development company with a reputation for quality engineering and long-term partnerships. Now, we're looking to
strategically grow our presence in North America
- and we want someone who can
evangelize our capabilities, build trust, and help open doors.
Your Role at a Glance
You won't be writing code - you'll be shaping conversations, influencing stakeholders, and helping Salt
win mindshare and deals
in the U.S. You'll work closely with our leadership, sales, and marketing teams to refine messaging, represent us in key meetings, and build a
repeatable GTM playbook .
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to
leverage their credibility, network, and strategic thinking
- without being tied to a full-time role.
What You'll Do Champion Salt in the U.S. Market Represent Salt as a trusted technical voice in strategic client conversations, pre-sales calls, and high-stakes evaluations. Generate & Influence Opportunities Use your network and presence to
identify or influence client leads
- from startups and SaaS firms to agencies and mid-size enterprises. Refine Our Market Story Help translate our technical strengths into a
compelling narrative
for U.S. buyers - reviewing proposals, pitch decks, and positioning. Advise & Align Bring technical clarity to decision-making - whether it's during RFPs, technical evaluations, or proposal reviews. Share Strategic Insight Offer guidance on U.S. buyer behavior, expectations, compliance needs, and how we can position ourselves to win. What You Bring
A strong foundation in
modern software development , architecture, and cloud-native ecosystems. Experience dealing with
U.S. clients and stakeholders , with insight into what builds or breaks confidence in a tech partner. Comfort engaging with
CTOs, founders, product heads, and procurement teams
- and aligning technical conversations with business goals. A consultative mindset and proven ability to
advocate for solutions , not just technologies. Bonus: Experience in
healthcare, SaaS, logistics, construction tech , or agency ecosystems. Extra bonus: You've worked in
fractional or advisory roles
before and enjoy helping companies break into new markets. Engagement Format
This is a
part-time, contract-based role
focused on strategic involvement, not day-to-day delivery.
You'll typically:
Join
3-5 key calls per week Provide input on
pitch decks, positioning, and proposals Offer
ongoing guidance
during early-stage client interactions Help build
long-term visibility
for Salt in your network or niche Be compensated via
