As the
Transportation Manager,
you will oversee daily transportation execution, carrier relationships, and delivery service across our retail network. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Support, this role plays a critical function in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods from DCs and vendors to our stores across airports, travel hubs, and retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed, 40 - 50 hours per week
Pay:
$85,000 - $100,000

Manage daily execution of inbound and outbound transportation across parcel, LTL, TL, and courier modes. Ensure on-time delivery performance to stores and other customer destinations. Monitor transportation service levels and identify opportunities for improvement. Coordinate and manage relationships with contracted carriers and 3PLs to manage schedules, service exceptions, and disputes. Track and report on carrier performance metrics (OTIF, claims, cost/mile/piece). Lead freight bid processes, lane optimization, and contract reviews. Collaborate with internal teams (DC Operations and Store Operations) to consolidate shipments and optimize routing. Identify and implement transportation cost-saving initiatives. Support transportation planning during peak seasons and special events. Use TMS tools to manage freight execution and improve visibility. Partner with IT and logistics teams on system upgrades and automation. Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting of transportation KPIs. Ensure compliance with DOT, TSA, and customs regulations where applicable. Maintain carrier insurance and safety documentation. Manage incident reports, freight claims, and exceptions resolution. Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations. Retail or high-velocity distribution experience preferred. Proven experience managing parcel, LTL, and/or dedicated transportation providers. Working knowledge of TMS systems. Strong analytical and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. Additional Requirements
