This position is located at our largest manufacturing complex in Corbin, KY. Due to the industry nature, this will be a primarily on-site role.

Objectives of this role

• Assist in developing personnel procedures, policies, and provide guidance for business operations.
• Participate in HR objectives development, including metrics and reports.
• Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and performance programs.
• Propose procedures to improve employee experience and HR department efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare onboarding paperwork and coordinate with departments for a smooth onboarding process.
• Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews, ensuring data accuracy.
• Provide HR advisory services to employees on various HR matters.
• Backup payroll processing, including updates, benefits, and incentives.
• Maintain and update employee policies and organizational documentation.

• Experience working successfully in an HR department.
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
• Problem-solving skills and thorough HR knowledge.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and ability to learn new systems.
