Byron Center
area seeking eager and reliable individuals to join their
Quality Inspection department ! Full-Time Quality Inspection $17/hr 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7 am - 3 pm
Quality Inspection Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of parts, assemblies, and finished products. Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications. Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and deviations from quality standards. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records in accordance with company and client requirements. Follow work instructions and adhere to client-specific quality guidelines. Communicate inspection results to team leaders, supervisors, and production staff. Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with all safety policies. Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with root cause analysis when required.
Quality Inspection Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED required). Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings (a plus). Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Basic math and measurement skills; ability to use calipers, gauges, or similar tools. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work in various locations when needed
