Compensation:

Job Summary: Our client, a fast-growing food and beverage manufacturer in Downingtown, PA, is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technicians to join their production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors, and facility surfaces to ensure strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment using Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) systems Sanitize production areas, floors, and high-touch surfaces using approved chemicals Maintain cleaning schedules and sanitation logs in compliance with HACCP and GMP standards Monitor chemical concentrations and perform titration testing as needed Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods Replenish hygiene and sanitary supplies throughout the facility Support inventory management of sanitation materials and report usage or needs Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Train and mentor new sanitation staff as assigned Comply with all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, food production, or sanitation role Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SQF preferred Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in temperature ranges between 35°F - 108°F Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends as needed Basic computer literacy required Forklift license or willingness to obtain one Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to follow procedures Commitment to cleanliness, reliability, and team collaboration
