The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Inventory Coordinator in Property Management to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Management Coordinator to operate primarily at our Walled Lake facility, with additional support at our Pontiac facility. In this role you will be responsible for handling physical inventories, maintaining traceability records, coordinating the movement, disposal and auditing of company, customer, and government-owned property. As our storage solutions evolve this role will play a critical part in managing communications related to inventory relocation, ensuring seamless organizational continuity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of their tasks and drives continuous improvements in operational processes.

The Inventory Coordinator in Property Management will also be responsible for: Inventory Handling & Movement:

Handle, move, and stage materials, parts, and equipment using forklifts and pallet jacks; load and unload items for storage or shipment. Manage inventory relocation as storage solutions change. Inventory Records & Traceability:

Maintain accurate inventory records, including part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and locations. Ensure traceability by updating records to maintain data integrity. ERP System Management:

Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system - updating location changes, plant transfers, and quantity adjustments - ensuring data accuracy. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Facilities, Engineering, and other teams to manage & prepare inventory for shipment. Assist with loading crates/boxes onto shipping trucks. Physical Inventories & Audits:

Conduct physical inventories at both Michigan locations. Support internal, customer, and government audits with accurate data and documentation. Inventory Organization & Compliance:

Organize and maintain assigned inventory areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures. Scrap Disposal Coordination:

Work with Facilities team or external vendors to manage scrap pickups and asset disposals. Communication & Problem Solving:

Maintain effective communication for inventory movements and issue resolution. Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to optimize efficiency. Qualifications

High school diploma required; post-secondary education a plus 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, property control, or materials handling Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Familiarity with PowerBi, Python, automation tools, or data analytics is a plus Skilled in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance U. S. Citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
