Staff Accountant
A confidential client of LHH Recruitment, a premier organization in the hospitality industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their Business Office team. This full-time, on-site role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by supporting various accounting and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support audited financials.
- Record deposits and payments across multiple entities.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Create and maintain financial analysis and internal reports.
- Assist in the development of annual labor, expense, and capital budgets.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business office operations.
- Provide general support across all business office functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
