Staff Accountant

A confidential client of LHH Recruitment, a premier organization in the hospitality industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their Business Office team. This full-time, on-site role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by supporting various accounting and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support audited financials.
  • Record deposits and payments across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
  • Create and maintain financial analysis and internal reports.
  • Assist in the development of annual labor, expense, and capital budgets.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business office operations.
  • Provide general support across all business office functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
