Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support one of our clients in Twinsburg, OH. This is a contract position ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing financial insights and variance analysis.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
