About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Taxation Executive Vice President to lead the development and execution of our tax strategy. This key role involves overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning while enhancing shareholder value through strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for managing federal and state tax filings, providing expert guidance on complex tax issues, and ensuring compliance with REIT and property tax regulations.
Your leadership will involve managing a talented team of tax professionals, collaborating with senior business leaders, and acting as a trusted advisor on emerging tax trends. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 10-15 years of robust tax experience, including at least 5 years in public accounting and corporate tax.
- A strong understanding of real estate and partnership taxation.
- Proven leadership and management experience at the director level or above.
- Preferred CPA license.
This role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for critical thinking and problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
