We are looking for a skilled office Assistant to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in New York, New York. Responsibilities:
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, including organizing and mailing returns.
• Scan and digitize letters for record-keeping purposes.
• Assist in preparing journal entries to support the accounting team.
• Generate and print mailing labels as required.
• Update existing spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain organization and accuracy in handling tax-related documents.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within specified deadlines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic spreadsheet updates.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle data entry and document scanning efficiently.
• Familiarity with administrative office practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Availability to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday for 22.5 hours per week.
