Overview

Insight Global seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support the Solid Waste Division for our public works team. This role is responsible for evaluating operational processes, equipment utilization, and budgetary performance to identify efficiencies and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with public sector operations, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational processes related to solid waste management to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze equipment utilization and budgeting performance to inform resource allocation and cost optimization.
• Translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for stakeholders in the public works team.
• Support data-driven decision-making through reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Public Administration, or any related field.
• 2+ years of data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and MS Office; experience with solid waste management systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of municipal budgeting and procurement processes.
