We are looking for a Bilingual Receptionist to join our team at a charter school in Salem, Massachusetts. This Contract to permanent position involves serving as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents while providing essential administrative support. The role requires fluency in Spanish to assist with translations and ensure effective communication in a diverse school environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a detail-oriented and welcoming manner.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answering and directing calls as needed.
• Provide translation services in Spanish for parents, students, and staff.
• Support the admissions coordinator with data entry, state reporting, and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain the front desk area and ensure it is organized and presentable.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating occasional after-school events.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Address inquiries and provide accurate information about school policies and procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to provide translations.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for administrative tasks.
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including parents, staff, and students.
• Familiarity with basic office software and tools for data entry and communication.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional after-school events.
• Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting as required by the school.
