Overview We’re seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to serve as our Vice President of Partnerships & Business Development. This individual will lead global dealmaking efforts, identify and structure high-value opportunities, and negotiate complex partnerships across banks, MTOs, digital wallets, fintech platforms, retailers, and non-traditional distribution partners. You’ll blend strategic vision with strong commercial instincts—using creativity and influence to structure partnerships that accelerate growth, enhance MoneyGram’s market presence, and deliver long-term value.

In this role, you will

Lead the global strategy and execution of all major partnerships and business development initiatives

Source, structure, and negotiate complex, multi-party agreements with payout partners, digital platforms, agent networks, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners

Identify and execute new market expansion opportunities, corridor growth plays, and product-driven alliances

Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Tech, Marketing, and regional leaders to ensure seamless implementation and regulatory alignment

Create compelling business cases and financial models to evaluate ROI, transaction volume potential, and long-term partnership value

Serve as the executive face of MoneyGram in high-stakes negotiations and external partnership discussions

Track market trends and shifts in remittance, mobile payments, and financial inclusion to anticipate and respond to partner needs

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or corporate development

A proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals, including commercial agreements, joint ventures, multi-country integrations, or strategic alliances

Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to creatively structure win-win agreements under regulatory and operational constraints

Excellent executive communication, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills

A strategic mindset combined with a bias for action and results

A proven ability to adapt and think creatively in fast-changing, growth-oriented environments

Preferred Qualifications

Deep domain expertise in remittance, cross-border payments, or adjacent financial services sectors

Strong network within global money transfer, fintech, or financial services ecosystems
