About the Role
The
Director of Business Development
is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 companies. You will build relationships with key decision-makers, uncover their critical business priorities, and work with internal subject matter experts to craft and execute strategies that deliver measurable results. This is a hybrid position you’ll work from home on Mondays and Fridays and be in the office Tuesday through Thursday. Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with large enterprise accounts. Engage senior-level executives to understand their business objectives and challenges. Partner with internal teams to design and present tailored solutions. Manage complex sales cycles ranging from three to twelve months. Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets. Qualifications
Based in the Chicago area Minimum of 5 years’ direct B2B sales experience with Fortune 1000 companies. Proven track record in new business development selling marketing solutions or professional business services. Demonstrated success managing varied sales cycles. Career stability (maximum of three employers in the past ten years). Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with web, SaaS, and mobile applications a plus. Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and annual performance bonus. Additional KPI-based bonuses during your first two years.
