We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our finance and accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our accounts payable process, ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately and paid on time. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Position Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Location: FFC Corporate Headquarters (5 days on site)
Compensation: $52,000 - $66,000 annual salary
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
Match invoices and receipts for proper documentation
Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
Ensure payments are processed in accordance with company policies and deadlines
Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes
Assist with month-end close processes and AP reporting
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience and Core Requirements
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (working knowledge of Sage Intacct a plus)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
