Overview

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Senior Medical Science Liaison, Immunology to be based in the Ohio/West Virginia territory. Our Immunology team leads in the development of transformational medicines for immunological disorders and illnesses. You can influence where medicine is going by restoring health to millions of people living with immune diseases. This is a field-based clinical position requiring travel, primarily throughout the assigned geography, with travel estimated at 80%. Responsibilities

Provide fair balanced, objective, scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs. Build external relationships with identified OLs and health care providers and manage a geographical territory; engagements can be virtual or in-person with a prioritization of in-person when appropriate. Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan, including educational activities with OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. Demonstrate competency in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination; collaborate with field-based partners to support Healthcare Providers and patient care. Enhance skills in agility, applying Change Management, Time Management and Innovation; conduct activities in accordance with regulatory and health care compliance guidelines. Conduct activities with compliance to current guidelines; perform administrative requirements timely and accurately (e.g., expense reports, activity documentation). Lead scientific or strategic Immunology projects, identify educational gaps, and elevate team acumen. Represent and support JNJ at scientific meetings, congresses, advisory boards, and investigator meetings; participate in speaking engagements as appropriate. Provide research support, identify potential sites for trials, and participate in meetings including site initiation and investigator launch meetings; liaise with R&D, Medical Affairs, and operations. Qualifications

PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced medical degree (NP, PA) with 3+ years of relevant TA clinical experience. 3+ years of MSL experience or equivalent relevant work experience (clinical, research, or related pharma work). Significant experience giving presentations; ability to support travel up to 75-80% including overnight and some weekend commitments. A valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record; reside within the defined assigned territory. Knowledge of the relevant TA and/or Immunology; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; comfortable with computers and remote technologies. Preferred

Knowledge or experience in the relevant therapeutic area and Immunology. Reside in or near the designated territory (preferably near Cincinnati or Columbus, OH). Benefits and Other Information

The expected base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750. This position is eligible for a company car through the Fleet program and annual performance bonus as per plan terms.
