As the Director of Global Benefits, you will provide strategic oversight and leadership for benefits programs across all regions, ensuring global alignment, compliance, and operational excellence. You will lead Cloudera’s benefits globally, driving consistent program execution and employee engagement. You will support and guide benefits and wellness programs that encourage employee health, well-being, and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to deliver compliant, competitive, and clearly communicated benefits that support the well-being of employees worldwide. Lead the delivery and execution of benefits programs globally Manage and develop a global team to ensure consistent, high-quality program support Ensure compliance with global standards and local regulatory requirements Continuously improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience Stay informed of market practices, global trends, and legislative changes that could impact benefit offerings or administration Leverage internal metrics and benchmarking to assess effectiveness, support vendor evaluation, and inform global strategy Own global vendor relationships, including RFPs, renewals, and performance management Collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll and Finance to support program operations, budgeting, new entity setup, and communication initiatives Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in benefits management, including 5+ years in global benefits management Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing international teams or regional benefits leads Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA), and familiarity with benefit requirements across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and Canada Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, RFP processes, and service-level oversight Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits or a comparable HRIS Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement and employee experience Ability to balance global consistency with regional customization in a fast-paced environment Additional Information
