Trustpoint.One is partnering with a well-established, highly regarded Michigan-based law firm in search of an Aerospace Defense Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Michigan and located in the Detroit Metro area, and meet the requirements below. Responsibilities

Advise clients on issues in government and commercial contracts Draft, review, and negotiate government and defense contracts Counsel on bid protests, contract performance, and subcontracting, including representing clients in administrative or court proceedings Handle contract disputes and terminations Ability to work cross-functionally in high-stakes, confidential environments Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice Qualifications

At least eight years of prior legal experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracts law At least three years of experience with DoD procurement processes, ITAR/EAR regulations, national security law, and classified contracts (e.g., working under DD254, security clearances) Strong understanding of the U.S. defense industrial base and international defense markets Excellent negotiation, communication, and risk assessment skills Must be licensed to practice in Michigan and reside in the Detroit Metro area Additional Details
