Construction Superintendent

GATSBY DEVELOPMENT
is seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Essential Functions
Travel to existing and proposed building sites. Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, labor, and materials delivery. Monitor work progress and ensure milestones are met. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily site inspections and document activities and progress. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders. Address and resolve issues or delays that arise during construction. Develop and maintain project schedule. Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise construction teams, vendors, independent contractors, and subcontractors adhering to all government laws and Gatsby QA/QC Policies. Supervise all Gatsby support personnel to ensure timely and accurate performance of job responsibilities associated with project(s). Ability to assemble the right team to address and solve issues effectively. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of field experience in construction. Technical knowledge of building components and systems. Solid understanding of the construction management process including estimating, budget control, scheduling, quality management, safety management, procurement, and contract administration. Thorough knowledge of procedures (subcontracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs and close-out). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In-depth understanding of how to read and interpret Architectural, Civil, Landscaping, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler, Access Control, FLS & DAS plan sets, in addition to project specifications. Performance Metrics
Projects remain within budget and schedule parameters. Projects are completed at levels of quality that were specified and/or required. Project planning participation with investment and asset management teams to provide qualified guidance. Job Type:
