We're on the lookout for a dynamic Director to lead our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT. As the Director, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

Part-Time, Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE:
2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
PAY:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Guiding Compliance:
Ensure that both staff and program adhere to state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the rules set by our host school.
Bringing the Fun:
Direct engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Plus, ensure homework completion as part of the program.
Managing Like a Boss:
Take charge of essential management tasks, including maintaining accurate attendance and registration records, and ensuring proper staffing levels to keep the program running smoothly.
Keeping Everyone in the Loop:
Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with your direct report, ensuring they are up to speed on daily occurrences and addressing issues in a timely manner. Work as a cohesive team to provide high quality care and a positive working environment.
Education and Experience EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Be at least eighteen years old, possess a BA, BS, or Associate degree, and have one of the following:
At least ten months direct work experience with school children OR
Vermont On-the-Job Training certificate OR
Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential OR
Vermont Program Director Credential OR
Vermont Teacher Licensure OR
Master’s Degree in a youth-related field
Qualifications
You must be medically fit to perform all job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat with exceptional people skills for kiddos, parents, and team members. Professional, reliable, and prompt.
Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry (up to 50 lbs.) to keep up with energetic students.
