Design and architect billing solutions using Amdocs Freestyle Billing, Charging, and related platforms. Define and manage billing parameters such as pricing rules, usage thresholds, billing cycles, discounts, and tax logic. Establish and maintain work rules that govern how billing events are processed, rated, and invoiced. Collaborate with Mobile IT and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable billing solutions. Participate in grooming calls (approx. 20-30 per week) to refine backlog items and ensure readiness for development. Support integration across BSS/OSS systems, CRM, provisioning, and payment platforms using APIs and middleware. Ensure billing systems are compliant, secure, and aligned with telecom standards (e.g., TM Forum Open APIs). Troubleshoot and optimize billing flows to improve accuracy, scalability, and customer experience. Qualifications
Must have 3-7 years of professional experience as a Billing Solutions Architect in the telecom industry. Experience setting and managing billing parameters such as pricing rules, usage limits, billing cycles, discounts, and tax configurations. Experience defining and enforcing work rules (e.g., how charges are applied, when invoices are generated, and how exceptions are handled). Experience ensuring systems like Amdocs can support different billing models, including subscriptions, usage-based charges, and promotional offers. Experience with APIs to ensure systems can communicate and exchange data smoothly. Pluses: Experience with Amdocs telecom billing software and related BSS/CRM/integration knowledge.
