SCORE Volunteer Marketing Manager
would oversee the chapter’s overall marketing and communications efforts to help attract clients, volunteers, partners, and community visibility. Specifically, they might: Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and implement the chapter’s annual marketing plan
Align marketing activities with SCORE’s national brand guidelines
Track performance of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
Digital Marketing Oversee chapter website updates (content, events, resources)
Manage social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Coordinate email newsletters and client communications
Community Outreach & Promotion Build relationships with local chambers, business groups, and community organizations
Promote SCORE workshops, webinars, and mentoring services
Support PR efforts-press releases, media contacts, local publicity
Brand & Content Management Ensure consistent SCORE messaging and visual identity in all chapter communications
Create or oversee flyers, presentations, and promotional materials
Highlight client success stories and volunteer spotlights
Team Collaboration Work with other volunteers (mentors, event coordinators, fundraising team) to promote activities
Possibly oversee a small marketing committee (social media, outreach, design support)
Report results and needs to the Chapter Leadership Team
Skills & Experience Background in marketing, communications, or public relations
Familiarity with digital marketing tools (social media, email, websites, analytics)
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to write clearly and persuasively
Experience in nonprofit or small business marketing (a plus, but not required)
