About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (EVP/CEO) to lead the organization into a new era of innovation, advocacy, and impact. The EVP/CEO will be the principal spokesperson and chief staff officer, providing strategic vision and leadership to advance the company's mission and enhance its national and global reputation. This role involves serving as the leading voice for health-system pharmacy in various forums, leading a large, complex organization, and ensuring the company's financial strength and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the visibility of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians as essential members of the healthcare team and will be expected to have a strong background in advocacy, public policy, and thought leadership.

Applicants for the EVP/CEO position at the company should hold an active U.S. pharmacist license and a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years' of senior executive experience, particularly in healthcare, associations, or academia, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial stewardship, strategic planning, and organizational growth, and must demonstrate a collaborative, ethical, and inclusive leadership style that inspires trust and drives results. The role demands a dynamic and inspirational leader who can lead a talented, mission-driven staff and support robust member engagement. The EVP/CEO will be expected to work closely with the Board of Directors and various affiliated organizations to ensure the continued success and impact of the company.
