Overview
Lead a legacy of impact in Northern New Jersey as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a respected nonprofit. The CEO will guide the organization’s strategic direction, champion the mission, and ensure operational and financial excellence. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on building relationships, advancing community partnerships, and delivering measurable results. Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to advance the mission, programs, and partnerships. Serve as the public face of the organization, strengthening relationships with donors, partners, civic leaders, and the broader community. Lead fundraising and resource development efforts to sustain and grow programs. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring financial health, program quality, and compliance. Partner with the Board of Trustees to implement the strategic plan and achieve measurable impact. Inspire, mentor, and support a committed staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Qualifications
Proven senior leadership experience in the nonprofit sector (CEO, Executive Director, or comparable role). Strong fundraising and donor relations track record with individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Deep connection to and understanding of the Northern New Jersey nonprofit landscape. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial oversight, and organizational growth. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. About the organization
